Marlborough Gallery is pleased to announce that Stephen Hannock is a participant in this year's American Art Conference. Organized annually by Initiatives in Art and Culture, this year's conference, Defining America: Place, Identity, Idea, explores the changing representation of national identity in visual culture. Hannock is participating in the panel discussion, "Contemporary Artists: The Relationship of Today's Artists to 18th and 19th-century landscape art," along with April Gornik, Valerie Hegarty and Kim Keever on Saturday, May 19, at 3 p.m. The conference takes place at the Graduate Center of The City University of New York from May 18 to 19, 2012.
