The Directors of Marlborough Gallery are pleased to announce Michele Oka Doner: How I Caught a Swallow in Midair, a career-spanning exhibition opening on March 24th at the Perez Art Museum Miami. How I Caught a Swallow in Midair features three-dozen works from the 1960s through today. These works, made of paper, terra-cotta, wax, porcelain, and stone - all organic materials that influence the artist, reveal the lasting influence of the natural world on her practice. The coincides with the premier of the Miami City Ballet’s presentation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, with costumes and sets designed by the artist. The exhibition will remain on view until September 11, 2016.
